We made the news today!!

So early this morning at about 5:30 - we felt the entire house shake and heard a loud noise. My first question to Blake (after saying "did you feel that") was is there a tornado? We looked outside and there was no rain, no clouds, no wind, no signs of a tornado -- after turning on the news we found out there was a 5.4 earthquake in southern Indiana near the Illinois border. We felt this earthquake 166 miles from the epicenter. Who would have thought -- Indiana of all places. I guess this 5.4 earthquake matches the record for another 5.4 earthquake in 1968. Any exciting news from your part of the world?

We felt it too! It woke up Shawn and and I - and Evan too, but Grant and Blake slept right through it! My parents even felt it in Cincinnati. Pretty wild - the tremor we experienced in San Francisco while visiting my brother wasn't even that bad. Guess we might want to re-think cancelling the earthquake insurance we just took off our policy last month . . . figures! Hopefully there's no damage anywhere!!! ;o)
