Lots of Love

Here I captured lots of love coming from Ethan. He is really into giving Ella hugs - only problem with that is that he hugs her neck! Anytime we go somewhere and Ella starts to run off in the wrong direction -- Ethan is to the rescue to get her hug her and try to get her to come back.
We had a beautiful weekend. It got up to 82 degrees on Sunday. Blake took the kids for a ride around the house and through the woods.
Little miss Ella likes to snap her fingers to get what she wants. Here she is sitting on her car snapping away (not sure what she wanted this time). Ethan saw me pull the camera out so he got his car and parked it next to Ella and tried to snap. I can never seem to get them to both look at me at once.

Long Lean Little Lady

So Ella will be 15 months next week. We took her to the Dr yesterday for her 15 month check up. I knew Ella was getting tall and starting to thin out. Yes - I have had my moments where I have cried because her little chubby legs are starting to look like little girl legs - her chub is going away. But to my surprise Ella is really tall. She is 33 inches, which is the 98% for her age. She weighs 22 lbs and 11 oz, which is only 50% for her age. Indicating that she is long and lean. She was working hard the past three months -- she grew 2.5 inches. I am sure she will pass her mommy someday. Here are some pictures of Ella trying to show how tall she is.

Some moments can't be cought on film

I have come to realize that some of our most precious moments many times go forgotten and unnoticed because they just can not be caught on film. I must say that Ethan and Ella are both very curious, rambunctious, and full of exploration and wonder. But I must also say they sure have a sweet loving side that many times I can't get in a picture. Ella, in my opinion is the most loving, cuddly little girl. She is always giving kisses (even to the kitty cat that entered out yard yesterday). She also loves to be held and give hugs. If I had to guess her love love language, it would be personal touch. Ethan also has his sweet side. He loves to sit REALLY close. He also is really good at giving back rubs. He gives kisses when ever I ask and is almost always willing to give his little sis a kiss and hug.

So today I was sitting on the couch with Ethan and he was resting his head on my shoulder. Along comes Ella, who always wants to be included. She climbed up on my lap and snuggled close with her whole body in my lap and her head on my stomach. Ethan thought it was great that Ella came up so he then put his arm around Ella and gave her a kiss and then started to rub her back. These are the kind of moments I wish I could capture on film so that I can always remember.

Chuck E Cheese

We went to Chuck E Cheese this weekend. The kids had a blast. Did you know that I had three kids. Check out all the pictures closely. My third child popped up in a few of the pictures. These first pictures are of Ella in the toddler area. It is pretty obvious she had a blast.

There is Ethan driving a car trying hard to get as many tickets as he can. Oh and there he is -- my third child looks a lot like Blake. He helped Ethan get lots of tickets. When we went shopping at the Chuck E Cheese store Ethan traded his tickets in for 6 Tootsie Rolls. He sure knows how to spend his money. That last picture is Ethan with a mouth full of Tootsie Roll.

Strawberry Faith

Is she not the cutest strawberry you have ever seen? This is a picture of my favorite niece (OK I only have one but I really love her) Faith. She is 6 months old. We always say that she looks like strawberry shortcake (the doll) because of her red hair. So, Janel dressed Faith up in this strawberry outfit. I love it. Oh and check out those cheeks -- If we were going into the winter I would think she was storing up but it is almost spring -- I think those are her actual fatty cheeks. I know you want to kiss and pinch them. She IS awful cute.

Dancing

Last night I ask Ella to show us her new dance moves. She has this new goofy dance where she looks like a total goon. Anyway - instead of doing that dance she went over to Ethan and grabbed his hands -- well here you go -- they danced. The dancing soon turned into a wrestling match. Ella had the upper hand at first but then we had to stop the fun when Ethan ended up getting a little rough.

Ready to shop

So here is little miss Ella ready to go shopping. She has her spring pink on and her matching purse. I posted the nasty face picture just to let you know she does tell me when she has had enough picture taking.

Mission acomplished

This weekend we moved in Ethan's big boy bed. He loved his crib and never climbed out, so we never had a reason to move him. (We could have moved him when Ella was born but that would have been when he was 17 months so we just bought a second crib). Anyway - I was scared the transition would be rough since Ethan does not like change - but he has slept wonderful in his new big boy bed. Now we just need to find some cute big boy bedding. Let me know if you have any ideas on where to get bedding.
Oh and Ella loves Ethan's big boy bed alot -- she is a little monkey.

A trip down memory lane

So Ella is 14 months right now. Here are 2 pictures of Ella at 14 months and one of Ethan at 14 months. I went back to look at Ethan's pictures because I was wondering who had more hair at this time. Yes -- both lacked hair but it looks like Ella has a little more. Poor kids -- someday they will have lots of thick beautiful hair - right?? The last picture is of me when Ethan was 14 months. I am sure glad I don't look like that now.
Ella loves her crackers and her shoes -- what a girl!

FLORIDA

So the kids and I went back down to Florida again to escape the cold winter. We all got sick down there but managed to have some fun. Here is a picture of Ella with Nonna and Papa. On this trip she realized that all she had to do was flash her eyes and she got what she wanted from Nonna and Papa.

Ethan and Ella sitting pretty. Notice the great outfit Ethan picked out to wear. Stripes and plaid. WOW he is one handsome dude.
We went to the Zoo one day. Ethan loved the exotic animals.
